
Senior Remote Customer Engagement Specialist

This role involves working as a remote receptionist, handling patient intake calls, and coordinating appointments with doctors.
- As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating with patients in a friendly and professional manner, gathering information, and scheduling appointments efficiently.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, organizational abilities, technical savvy, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:- Frontline Patient Communication: Answer and manage intake phone calls from patients, acting as a remote receptionist, and provide a warm welcome to calm anxious or stressful situations.
- Patient Information Gathering: Obtain and record detailed client information, including personal details, location, and symptoms, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity when handling personal health information.
- Appointment Scheduling: Assess the urgency of patient needs and schedule same-day or urgent appointments accordingly, coordinating appointment times by matching patient availability with on-call doctor schedules.
- Doctor Coordination: Determine and assign the appropriate doctor for each case based on patient symptoms, location, and timing, using internal roster and location mapping.
- Communication & Follow-Up: Send out confirmation details and informative follow-ups to patients and doctors, ensuring they have necessary information and know what to expect.
- Post-Appointment Follow-Up: Reach out to patients to confirm their issue was addressed and they are satisfied with the service, following up with doctors to verify visits were completed successfully.
- Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Proactively manage and resolve logistical issues that may occur during the intake or appointment process, involving on-call managers or tech support if needed.
As an Intake Specialist, you must work as part of a remote team, communicating with colleagues and doctors across time zones. Reliable punctuality is crucial for seamless handovers and maintaining continuity of service.
