We are seeking a dedicated Patient Advocate to help patients navigate the complexities of the healthcare system with ease and confidence.

About the Role

This is a highly rewarding position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and empathy for patients. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and financial aid programs to streamline assistance and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enroll patients in philanthropic aid programs.
  • Effectively manage post-enrollment work such as submitting claims or ordering medications.
  • Reviewing patient enrollments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Escalate and appeal patient assistance denials.
  • Order, receive, and log medication orders.
  • Coordinate medication deliveries to the designated pharmacy timely.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a high-performance, high-accountability environment.
  • Hands-on experience working in healthcare is a must.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to offer emotional support and empathy.
  • Have a passion for the well-being of patients.
Internet and Modem Requirements

A minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps and a minimum download speed of 5 Mbps are required. A modem/router combination may cause connection problems, so it's recommended to add a router to your network that meets the following guidelines:

  • Ethernet ports wired for gigabit speed connections.
  • Availability of at least two (2) Ethernet connections to the internet source is required.
