
Healthcare Support Specialist

As a member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include managing intake, working with healthcare professionals, and providing triage and care coordination. You will also handle inquiries and resolution for our members and providers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage member requests and admission/discharge information
- Work with hospitals and clinics to manage referrals and prior authorizations
- Provide appropriate triage and care coordination notification cases
- Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers
This is a fast-paced, customer service environment that requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evening hours.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
- Ability to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type and talk at the same time and navigate through multiple screens
