
Patient Financial Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented professional to assume key responsibilities in our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
The Patient Financial Outreach Representative will be responsible for proactively reaching out to patients to review co-pays, balances, and payment options. Additionally, they will provide clear explanations of billing statements and assist with setting up payment plans when needed.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will accurately document all patient interactions, financial discussions, and related information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to maintain a clear and consistent record.
They will also work closely with intake, clinical, and billing teams to ensure accurate information flow and escalate complex patient or insurance issues for resolution.
The Patient Financial Outreach Representative must possess prior experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare accounts receivable. They must also have proficiency in English (spoken and written), strong organizational skills, accuracy, and time management.
In addition, they must be able to manage sensitive patient information with integrity (HIPAA compliance) and be comfortable using billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Reliable attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours are also essential for this role.
