We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pricing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing quotations and rate requests, ensuring complete and competitive pricing that meets customer requirements.

As a Pricing Specialist, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to analyze quotation requirements, define internal quotation and solution guidelines, and coordinate with regional, country stakeholders and pricing teams of different cultural backgrounds.

You will also be responsible for ensuring timely, competitive, and complete submissions of rate requests, monitoring and following up on quotation status with requestors, and engaging with respective stakeholders for win ratio improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in managing quotations and RFQ's from receiving till submission and follow-up
  • Ability to engage actively with customers and internal stakeholders at different levels
  • Extensive knowledge in international air and sea freight forwarding business
  • Good project management and time management skills to stay on top of multiple deadlines for multiple requests in parallel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to properly engage with regional, country stakeholders and pricing teams of different cultural backgrounds
  • Strong analytical mind ideally paired with operational experience to analyze rate requirements and be able to quickly understand customer requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong and enhanced user skills with Microsoft Excel (Pivot table, V/H-Lookup etc.)
