Virtual Relationship Manager

The Virtual Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring new business banking customers and managing the growth of target markets in terms of deposits, loans, and non-interest income/volume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximizes earning potential and business growth from existing accounts through account planning and profitability in partnership with products and the best proposition package.
  • Cross-sells other bank products to existing accounts based on available product offerings to generate an additional source of fee income.
  • Ensures periodic contact with targeted business banking clients to build relationships, verify contact details, gather market intelligence, and create sales opportunities. Performs welcome calls or new product confirmation calls.
  • If customer engagement identifies a service issue, raises the relevant incident ticket for resolution and monitors until closure.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, financial management, economics, marketing, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of basic credit processes, account management, churn management, and legal documentation; knowledge of financial analysis and risk assessment.
  • Strong marketing and account solicitation skills, effective negotiation skills, good interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer service orientation.
