
Australian Business Development Consultant

We seek an experienced Business Development Specialist to conduct outbound calls to Australian businesses, foster interest, assess prospects, and arrange qualified discovery/demo meetings with the founder.
This is a contract position — you'll have the flexibility to manage your own time, making calls generally during Australian business hours to maximize connection rates.
- Make outbound calls to targeted prospects from a provided lead list
- Utilize pre-approved templates and training materials to introduce the value proposition
- Assess prospects against our ideal customer profile (training will be provided)
- Arrange qualified discovery/demo meetings into the founder's calendar
- Record activities, notes, and outcomes in a CRM system
- Follow up on no-shows and reschedule where possible
Ideal Customer Profile:
- A high-volume, local service business serving 50+ customers per month
- Uses a CRM, booking, invoicing, or payment system compatible with our integrations
- Has a verified Google Business listing
- The decision-maker is the business owner or marketing manager with budget authority
Performance Expectations:
- At least 2 qualified meetings booked per day
- 40 qualified meetings booked per month (must meet the ideal customer criteria)
- 40–50 outbound calls per day
- 40–50 emails/SMS per day (as part of the follow-up process)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, handling outbound and inbound calls, or a relevant role
- Operates a high-volume local service business serving 50+ customers per month
- Uses a CRM, booking, invoicing, or payment system compatible with our integrations
- The decision-maker is the business owner or marketing manager with authority over budget decisions
Contract Terms:
- Independent contractor role
- Monthly retainer paid via Currenxie in PH or AUD
- Month-to-month contract with potential for long-term engagement
- Performance bonuses available for exceeding expectations and securing deals that convert to close/won
Summary: As a Business Development Specialist, you will be conducting outbound calls to Australian businesses, fostering interest, assessing prospects, and arranging qualified discovery/demo meetings with the founder. This role requires a strong understanding of business development principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as a contractor.
