Job Title

This role oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing a team of accountants, preparing financial statements, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely submission of audit requirements.
  • Oversee tax compliance activities, including preparation and filing of tax returns, and ensure adherence to local tax regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and forecasts for management decision-making.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development to the accounting team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Proven leadership/managerial role experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
