Senior Financial Operations Manager

As a Senior Financial Operations Manager, you will oversee the execution of financial projects, mentor junior team members, and ensure the upkeep of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Your goal is to maintain robust and reliable financial operations while meeting deadlines.
Key responsibilities include reviewing the quality of junior team members' work, leading accounts payable and receivable processes, managing onboarding and cleanup workflows for new client accounts, maintaining and enhancing SOPs, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal standards, training and coaching junior team members, and effectively managing multiple clients and meeting all deadlines for month end close.
Collaborate with the Pod Lead to execute onboarding plans and communicate proficiently via email and Slack using alias accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, full-cycle bookkeeping, and financial cleanup.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and process adherence.
- Strong leadership capability and mentoring experience.
- Track record of creating or refining SOPs and efficient workflows.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
