Job Overview

The Senior VoIP Systems Administrator will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining and enhancing large-scale VoIP, IP, CPaaS and UCaaS platforms and their underlying infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a member of the Infrastructure Engineering, Operations and Planning group, reporting into the Manager of Infrastructure, you will build, operate, manage and improve large VoIP, IP, CPaaS and UCaaS platforms and their underlying infrastructure.
Technical Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of senior-level Linux Systems Administration experience across multiple core Linux distributions.
  • Advanced complex shell scripting abilities for automation purposes.
  • Experience with BigCouch/CouchDB and MySQL databases, including tables, replications, backups, files and content.
  • Deep configuration and functionality knowledge of SIP/RTP software/daemons/applications.
  • Understanding and familiarity with the LAMP software stack and Docker containers.
  • Expertise in building, managing, configuring and maintaining development, lab, pre-production and production Linux servers (kernels, images, change management, security, AAA, logging, libraries, centralized logging, jump servers, daemons, monitoring/alerting platforms).
