Senior Cloud Development Architect

We are seeking a seasoned cloud development architect to join our team. As a senior cloud development architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable software solutions using modern SDLC practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and managers to ensure high-quality design, implementation, and delivery of complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and related services. They will also have expertise in front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5, and libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular. Additionally, they will have proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java, along with relevant frameworks.

As a senior cloud development architect, you will be responsible for evaluating feasibility of requirements and solutions through structured analysis. You will define system specifications, standards, and implement reliable programming solutions. You will also create and maintain clear documentation, diagrams, and well-structured code.

Other responsibilities include collaborating with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to align on goals, requirements, and progress. You will participate in regular check-ins and design discussions to ensure shared understanding. You will also share expertise through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• 3+ years of experience owning or leading complex projects (as a senior IC, not as a people manager).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5, and libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java, along with relevant frameworks.
• Strong experience with REST and GraphQL APIs (design and implementation).
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with DBMS technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB) and caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and related services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, BigQuery, Dataplex, container orchestration).
• Experience working with Nginx or Apache on Linux environments.
• Ability to implement responsive UIs from detailed designs for both web and mobile.
• Experience with Git workflows and version control tools (GitHub, GitLab).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines and tool(s) (Airbyte, Airflow, DBT, etc.).

• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation practices (code, diagrams, design decisions).
• High attention to detail with a process-oriented, proactive mindset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in an Agile team environment.
• Passion for quality delivery and continuous improvement.

• Experience in integration with various ERP/CRM/HRMS platforms and ETL/ELT tools: Airbyte, NetSuite, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, ADP, etc.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Knowledge of current trends in AI and proven ability to integrate with AI technology partners.
