We are seeking a skilled and driven individual to join our sales team as a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will identify potential customers across the APAC region and qualify their interest in our products.
This is a high-energy position that requires flexibility, proactive interactions with clients, and a unique understanding of customer use cases.
Key Responsibilities- Generate leads using social media, phone, and networking activities.
- Validate and qualify leads using outbound sales techniques.
- Hold virtual product demonstrations and assist with in-person events.
- Introduce sales qualified leads to our local partners and Regional Sales Manager.
- Assist with roadshows, partner events, and tradeshows.
- Create and maintain customer data in CRM tools.
- Build the territory in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Experience with cold calling, lead generation, and dealing with rejection.
- Passionate, competitive, and curious nature, open to continuous skillset growth.
- Well-organized, able to document clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for selling and building lasting relationships.
- Persuasive, independent, and at ease negotiating and developing trust.
- Post-secondary education or 1-2 years of professional working experience.
- A high level of curiosity and openness to being coached alongside senior sales staff.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Existing network in geospatial, surveying, mining, or construction industries.
- A passion for latest technologies and innovations that solve problems for customers.
- Tech savviness working with outreach tools, email verification, automated sequencing tools, and CRM systems.
