Job Summary:

This pivotal role involves building and refining portfolio-level financial models, delivering on debt and tax-equity investor reporting requirements, and managing the client's operating portfolio of photovoltaic and battery storage assets.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Building and enhancing portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts.
  • Producing project level budget to actual variance analysis and communicating findings to operational teams.
  • Highlighting and investigating underperformance and optimization opportunities of operating assets leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
  • Preparing reporting packages and various deliverables to investors and lenders.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk.
  • Building data infrastructure that enables teams to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates, energy production, and other metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field.
  • At least two years of experience in a related field or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Creative mindset with proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience working with large datasets, querying databases, and using ERPs such as NetSuite.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
