Senior Financial Planning Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled financial planning professional to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor client investment portfolios to ensure they remain aligned with recommended asset allocation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed recommendations for financial advisers on necessary changes and maintain accurate records of advice provided.
  • Produce quarterly and annual performance reports for clients, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Develop tailored investment strategies for Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with product providers and investment platforms.
  • Manage client work-in-progress logs and CRM tools to ensure seamless workflow and optimal client experience.
  • Reconcile fees and commissions accurately, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to clients as required, maintaining high levels of professionalism and discretion.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a related field.
  • Possess at least three years of experience in Australian financial planning, with a strong understanding of local regulations and market trends.
  • Have prior experience with portfolio management and investments, including preparation of client portfolio reports.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with prior experience working with SMSFs.
