
Xerox Multifunction Printer and Copier Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Remote Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients requiring technical support for Xerox multifunction printers and copiers.
Key Responsibilities:- Inbound Call Handling: Respond to client inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, providing top-notch customer service throughout the troubleshooting process.
- Gather Essential Information: Collect relevant data from clients, including their name, company, device model/serial number, and issue description, to facilitate effective resolution.
- Remote Troubleshooting: Utilize your expertise to diagnose and resolve common issues, such as paper jams, print streaks, and driver problems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Driver & Network Configuration: Install and troubleshoot printer drivers, as well as address network configuration issues, including IP conflicts and device connectivity.
- CRM Documentation: Log service activities in the CRM system, documenting timestamps, machine details, issue descriptions, steps taken, and resolution status.
- Escalation: Effectively escalate unresolved issues to senior technicians with clear documentation, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Xerox Experience: 2-5 years of direct technical support experience working with Xerox printers and copiers.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of multifunction printers, copiers, and common hardware/software issues, with familiarity with brands like HP, Ricoh, or Canon.
- Remote Access Skills: Proficiency with remote tools, such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc., to access and configure customer systems securely.
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English to deliver clear, empathetic, and professional support.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of resolving issues independently or escalating appropriately.
