Procurement Professional

We are seeking a talented Procurement Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement transactions, ensuring that they are executed in systems and compliant with global standard processes and procedures.

This role involves creating and maintaining system contracts, including outline agreements, source lists, purchase info records (PIRs), and framework orders in SAP. The incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating with Category/Sourcing Managers to keep system contracts current, enabling site users to do call-offs against the system contracts and automated purchasing via tools like MRP, auto-PO generation, etc.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of the Procure to Pay experience, with practical experience in Tactical Sourcing, including managing sourcing requests, identifying qualified suppliers, conducting price comparisons and negotiations, issuing RFQs or RFX, and awarding suppliers in alignment with category strategies and business requirements.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement transactions to ensure compliance with global standard processes and procedures.
  • Create and maintain system contracts, including outline agreements, source lists, purchase info records (PIRs), and framework orders in SAP.
  • Coordinate with Category/Sourcing Managers to keep system contracts current.
  • Identify qualified suppliers and conduct price comparisons and negotiations.
  • Issue RFQs or RFX and award suppliers in alignment with category strategies and business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics/Science related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, procurement operations, accounts payable or comparable valuable experience from other areas.
  • Practical experience in Tactical Sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of the Procure to Pay experience.
  • Experience navigating a variety of external supplier and internal business stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience executing procurement activities in SAP and Ariba.
