Procurement Specialist Role

World Vision is seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of World Vision programs and projects by developing functional strategies, translating them into procurement plans, and advising on sourcing strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing functional strategies through understanding stakeholders' needs
  • Translating strategies into procurement plans in accordance with policy and management direction
  • Advising on and participating in the development of sourcing strategies
  • Executing market assessments and supplier pre-qualifications
  • Managing RFQ/RFP processes, including baselines and price survey methodologies
  • Leading commercial and technical negotiations for assigned categories
  • Preparing comprehensive procurement committee submission documents
  • Ensuring that contracts are processed through ProVision Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
  • Monitoring and completing contract close-out, extension, or renewal as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, commerce, or similar
  • Minimum of CIPS L4 Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years supply chain and/or procurement experience in an INGO setting
  • Experience with regional and global sourcing operations
  • Expertise with cloud-based supply chain systems – Provision or similar
