Team / division overview

DWS Group (DWS) is a leading asset manager with EUR 833bn AUM (as of 30 June 2022), with over 60 years of experience. We are recognized globally for investment solutions, stability, and innovation across various disciplines. DWS is publicly listed since its IPO and is establishing its infrastructure and corporate functions, including Procurement.

The Sourcing Contract Specialist reports to the Head of Category and handles contract negotiations, finalizations, and amendments related to supplier legal terms. They work closely with Procurement, business stakeholders, and suppliers. Responsibilities include managing the entire contract lifecycle, working with Legal on standard templates, and supporting sourcing processes with Category Management colleagues and stakeholders for RFPs.

Your responsibilities

As Procurement Specialist, you will:

Role Details

Work with Senior Category Managers on global sourcing strategies, projects, contracting, and content management (category cards, preferred suppliers, catalogs, rate cards).

Collaborate with Procurement teams in Vendor Management and Third-Party Risk, and align with business stakeholders.

Analyze category spend and market data to inform decisions.

Support sourcing projects from planning to negotiation and contracting.

Produce sourcing reports to advise stakeholders.

We are looking for

• Procurement experience, especially in Category Management/Sourcing, ideally in IT Services, Software, SaaS, Infrastructure, or Consulting.
• Experience with SAP Ariba or similar platforms.
• Spend analysis and sourcing strategy experience.
• Negotiation skills, contract management, and legal compliance knowledge.
• Strong relationship, analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Team player, self-organized, strategic thinker, and proactive in resolving sourcing issues.
• Ambitious, driven, able to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Open to mid-shift hours (2 pm to 11 pm).
