
Client Intake Liaison Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients, facilitating a seamless intake process from initial inquiry to case assignment.
This involves gathering essential information, assessing case suitability, and coordinating closely with legal staff to ensure accurate case initiation.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective new clients via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Conduct thorough intake interviews via telephone to gather critical information regarding potential legal matters.
- Prepare comprehensive written summaries of intake interviews.
- Collaborate with supervising attorneys to assess initial eligibility and legal matter suitability.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with potential new clients, setting realistic expectations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal, administrative, or client service field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal support or client intake-related position, preferably in a law firm or legal department.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with U.S. legal terminology and procedures.
- Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using legal practice management software and CRM systems (e.g., Clio, MyCase, Lawmatics).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications, especially Gmail and Word documents.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is an advantage.
