About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled VAT specialist to join our team. As a VAT specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with UAE VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in VAT registration and deregistration processes, maintaining up-to-date records for client VAT accounts.
  • Prepare VAT refund and penalty reconsideration applications, reviewing client documentation to ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
  • Respond to client queries under the guidance of senior tax staff, staying updated with the latest VAT rules and practices in the UAE.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security standards in all processes, coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary financial data.
  • Participate in trainings and development programs to enhance VAT knowledge, performing other duties as directed by the VAT Manager to support department goals.
Requirements
  • Part-qualified or working towards a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in UAE VAT or tax-related roles.
  • Good knowledge of Tax, Financial Accounting, and Compliance matters.
  • Experience in financial advisory and other related financial services and products.
  • Proficient in English.
