Financial Accounting Specialist

This position involves managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks and meeting agreed-upon deadlines. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of daily bank reconciliations, weekly bank summaries, and liquidity reports.
  • Reconciliation of fixed asset additions to ensure all capitalizable assets are registered in the system.
  • Registration of fixed asset additions in the system, monthly depreciation runs, entry for disposal and transfers between entities, and maintenance of the fixed asset register and lapsing schedule.
  • Cash receipts allocation in the receivable module.
  • Preparation of month-end journals: prepayments amortization, accruals, cost reallocation, manual reclassification, and OH adjustments, intercompany accruals, among others.
  • Monthly VAT validation and reconciliation.
  • Preparation and maintenance of non-critical account reconciliations, with relevant schedules and analyses available monthly.
