Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts/Payroll Admin to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll and accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry, reconciliations, and general ledger tasks.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all payments are processed promptly.
  • Use Xero accounting software for payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Perform regular audits of financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Generate reports for internal use and management reviews.
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure payroll data.
  • Handle other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an accounts or payroll role.
  • Proficiency in Xero and Excel is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with Australian payroll or accounting standards.
