This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Business Development Representative and be part of our growth strategy. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a vital role in identifying potential customers across the APAC region and qualifying their interest in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads using social media, phone, and networking activities.
  • Validate and qualify leads using outbound sales techniques to establish contact with the customer.
  • Hold virtual product demonstrations of the drone and its workflow, as well as assist in person.
  • Introduce sales qualified leads (SQL) to our local partners and your Regional Sales Manager in a well-documented manner.
  • Assist in the organization of roadshows, partner events, and tradeshows.
  • Create and maintain customer data in CRM tools.
  • Build the territory in close working relationship with the Regional Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  • You have experience cold calling, generating leads, and dealing with rejection.
  • Passionate, competitive, and curious by nature, open to continuously growing your skillset.
  • Well organized, able to document clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for both selling and building lasting relationships with distribution partners and customers.
  • Persuasive, independent, at ease negotiating and developing trust.
  • Completed post-secondary education or 1-2 years of professional working experience.
  • High level of curiosity and openness to being coached alongside senior sales staff.
  • Travel up to 20%.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Existing network in geospatial, surveying, mining, or construction industries.
  • Possession of passion for latest technologies and innovations that solve problems for customers and enhance their daily lives.
  • Tech savviness working with outreach tools such as LinkedIn Sales navigator, email verification, and automated sequencing tools as well as CRM systems.
