Warehouse Operations Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to oversee the management of our warehouse operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and compliance with company policies and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives through data-driven insights and local market expertise, enhancing overall operational performance.
  • Manage analyses, including cost optimization, delivery performance, forecasts, and more, to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee inbounding of new inventory, reverse logistics, warehouse inventory, outbound, and maintenance operations, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team capable of handling future challenges, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Initiate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures, promoting best practices and minimizing risk.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse costs and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Produce regular reports on key metrics, shrinkage, stock movement, and costs, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge and skills.
  • 8-10 years of experience in warehouse operations or related field, showcasing proven leadership, analytical, and technical expertise.
  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills, enabling effective team management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases, facilitating efficient operations and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for success in this role.
