Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Control Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining control systems to optimize performance and ensure safe operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Configuration:

    Install control hardware and software in accordance with specifications and safety standards.

  • Programming and Development:

    Develop and modify control programs using programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text.

  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

    Regularly perform checks and maintenance to prevent breakdowns.

    Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to control hardware and software.

  • Testing and Calibration:

    Test control systems and associated equipment to verify proper operation.

    Calibrate and adjust control settings to maintain accuracy and performance.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

    Maintain detailed records of control configurations, programming changes, and maintenance activities.

    Prepare and submit reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

    Evaluate compliance with relevant standards and codes.

  • Training and Support:

    Provide training and support to other team members and operators on control systems and troubleshooting techniques.

    Assist with the development of operational procedures and manuals.

Requirements:

  • Education:

    An associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Experience:

    A minimum of 5 years of experience working with control systems in an industrial setting is required.

  • Skills:

    Proficiency in control programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text) is required.

    Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams is required.
