Supply Chain Specialist

The primary role of the Supply Chain Specialist is to manage and coordinate the flow of goods, services, and information from raw materials to end customers. This involves analyzing and mitigating risks associated with supply chain disruptions, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain operations, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across departments.
  • Analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and improve service levels.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Developing and managing budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain software and technology, including ERP systems.
