Vendor Management Professional

This role revolves around the strategic management of vendors, encompassing contract renewals, cost optimization, and SaaS administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive 36-month rolling horizon calendar for contract renewals, ensuring timely and cost-effective agreements.
  • Own and maintain a project and savings tracker for all work processed by the Vendor Management team, fostering transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to plan and execute upcoming contract renewals, leveraging collective expertise.
  • Document and recommend process improvements governing vendor engagements, purchasing, and vendor lifecycles, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to model costs and options for business cases, providing data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with peers in Risk and Compliance to perform annual risk rating and due diligence checks for existing and new suppliers, ensuring vendor stability.
  • Partner with the SaaS management team to identify opportunities to optimize subscriptions and plan renewals, driving value-added services.
Requirements:
  • A degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency with numbers, spreadsheets (MS-Excel), and data modeling.
  • 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management.
  • Familiarity with commercial contracts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • A "Completer-Finisher" personality with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
