Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle for large-scale projects, including contract development, risk assessment, and claims management.
  • This role ensures contractual compliance across engineering, procurement, and construction phases while supporting project cost control, billing, and dispute resolution. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align project objectives, mitigate risks, and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Key responsibilities include contract negotiation, subcontractor engagement, variation and claim management, and strategic risk analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Draft and negotiate comprehensive contracts, clearly defining project scope, timelines, lump-sum or unit-rate costs, payment terms, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules, while understanding the contractual and legal implications of design and construction deliverables in contracts.
  • Ensure that all project activities, including subcontractor execution and procurement milestones, strictly adhere to the terms of the main contract.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); a Master's in Engineering, Project Management, or Business is preferred
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, commercial support, or claims management within the EPC sector.
  • Experience must include engagement with EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers, OEMs, and multi-disciplinary teams in a project development context
  • Familiarity with managing subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and service contracts
  • Ability to interpret contractual clauses related to scope, payment terms, variations, delays, force majeure, indemnities, and dispute resolution
  • Proficient in reviewing technical documents, engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications to assess contractual impacts
