JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, particularly in employee training and development. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop comprehensive training plans for employees
  • Manage the selection and addition of relevant courses on the Coursera platform
  • Establish and maintain a structured drive system for organizing employee training records
  • Develop and maintain a spreadsheet outlining the training plan for each employee
  • Coordinate and schedule employee training sessions on a centralized calendar system
  • Send out invitations and instructions to employees to join Coursera courses
  • Provide access to resources and instructions for new employees on how to sign in to Coursera
  • Assist new employees in understanding the process of enrolling in Coursera courses
  • Manage the removal of employees from Coursera courses as needed
  • Extract and organize data related to employee enrollment and progress in Coursera courses
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive directory spreadsheet containing details of employee training plans
  • Prepare and distribute reports summarizing employee training progress and achievements
  • Maintain and update the list of training agreements and obligations for employees
  • Manage and update a spreadsheet tracing Coursera licenses and subscriptions
  • Assess and coordinate corporate training needs and requirements based on organizational objectives
  • Develop and manage course content creation in the Moodle learning management system for Owens Univerisity
  • Collect and analyze feedback from employees regarding training programs to identify areas for improvement

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in HR or training administration is preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with online learning platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
