Description:
The Human Resource Assistant performs various activities to support a companys HR Department. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment or employment, onboarding, policy implementation, benefits, employee relations, and employee law compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records
- Support the recruitment process
- New hire orientation & onboarding
- Assist employees with attendance & benefits
- Assist in compliance with labor laws & company policies
- Support performance reviews
- Act as a liaison between employees and the HR department
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Admin, or a related field (preferred)
- With experience as an HR Assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and confidentiality
