MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide effective and accurate payroll and benefits administration services for Seda in line with approved HR policies and procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Provide an accurate payroll and benefits administration service
  • Maintain the Employee Self Service (ESS) administration system
  • Maintain the integrity of payroll data
  • Provide payroll reports
  • Payroll filing and record management
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
  • Matric (NQF Level 4) and Diploma (NQF Level 5/12 months certificate) in Human Resources Management / Business Management
  • Certification in Payroll System is an added advantage
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in HRM is an added advantage
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

3-4 years of work experience in Payroll and Benefits Administration.

Practical knowledge and application of VIP payroll system.

Knowledge of legislation relevant to payroll functions, such as Pay as You Earn, Skills Development Levy, and Unemployment Insurance Fund.

Knowledge of HR information management systems, e.g., VIP.

Broad knowledge of remuneration and payroll best practices.

Understanding of relevant income tax and labour relations.
