Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting. They will also be responsible for providing support to colleagues and stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting and payroll tax systems, with experience in processing end-to-end payroll. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll data, including time and attendance, leave and absence, and benefits
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide support to colleagues and stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including payroll schedules and reconciliation reports
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in BPO/Shared Services
  • At least 1 year of US payroll experience
  • Understanding of financial accounting, payroll tax systems, and software
  • End-to-end payroll processing experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Amenable to night/graveyard shifts
  • Familiarity with Dayforce and Workday is a plus
  • Experience with payroll systems and ticketing tools is a plus
