This position is part of a direct consumer outreach sales organization, where the sales agent serves as the first point of contact for guests calling into our contact center. The agent handles inbound calls to sell and service Silversea cruises and related shore side products and services to consumers, from initial contact through the guest sailing. Use the Silversea toll-free number to generate sales and foster long-term customer relationships through excellent service. Provide a personalized luxury customer service experience and collaborate with global sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term sales goals in alignment with company values. Coordinate with management to ensure call volume is handled efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell Silversea cruises and related shore side products and services using inbound consumer contacts.
  • Assess guest needs, identify suitable products, provide sales recommendations on all sales calls, and accurately create reservations.
  • Service existing reservations according to guest requests and existing business rules.
  • Meet assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Manage a high-volume workload, meet goals, and optimize the selling process through a scripted sales process.
  • Communicate effectively with decision makers at all levels internally and externally.
  • Maximize opportunities to close sales; service existing bookings and upsell throughout the customer relationship.
  • Sell consultatively using active listening, and make recommendations to prospects and clients.
  • Quickly acquire new skills and multitask to achieve peak performance.
  • Capture pertinent information and payments during all guest interactions using company-supported tools and processes.
  • Provide information to maximize marketing ROI when opportunities are not closed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
