About the Role - Sales & Business development managers are a crucial piece of the overall customer organization and they play a role in helping our customers understand the necessity and support from business value our solution offers. We are admiring mature, empathetic, and ambitious communicators who can help and lead customers to successful digital transformation at the enterprise level. This position is based in the Philippines and there will be more discussion on territory & responsibility during an interview session.
Responsibilities
- Achieving sales target (annually)
- Engaging prospects and customers to convince them of the value of our solutions
- Ability to create complex proposal pricing with the company's profitability in mind
- Leading new customer acquisition and ensuring customer retention
- Managing and maturing opportunities and recording stages in a CRM system
- Working as part of the team to bring the right resources in each customer engagement
- Acting as the sales lead with partners including AWS, Google, Azure, and others
- Showing a "can-do" attitude both for the customer and for the company
- Ability to pick up new skills quickly and take on challenges
- Displaying the ability to listen to customers' requirements and collaborating with partners to offer the optimized solution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
- 5+ years of experience in selling/offering Cloud services/solutions
- Experience in Cloud Security solutions like DDoS/WAF/BOT/API Protection is a plus
- Track record as a sales or business development manager
- Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with and managing external partners/customers
- Having a consulting background is valuable because it demonstrates your experience in working with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions
