Support-Focused Developer – Escalation & Maintenance

Location:Remote (work from home) or in our office in Cauayan City, Isabela

Type:Full-time

Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift per day

The Role: Support-Focused Developer

We're hiring aSupport-Focused Developerto lead our technical support escalation and system maintenance efforts. You'll troubleshoot complex issues, implement fixes, and improve system performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into technical challenges and proactively preventing recurring problems.

You'll collaborate with product, integration, and support teams to improve stability and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve support tickets that require engineering-level expertise.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and identify root causes quickly and efficiently.
  • Work on backend performance tuning and system optimisation.
  • Suggest and implement long-term solutions to prevent repeat issues.
  • Participate in code quality reviews and process improvements.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in PHP development (Laravel preferred).
  • Familiarity with the TALL stack (TailwindCSS, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire).
  • Deep understanding of debugging tools, API troubleshooting, and database optimisation.
  • Ability to handle support escalations with professionalism and technical rigor.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of construction or finance-related platforms is a plus.
