The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Monitor regional sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights for improvement.
  • Monitor competitor strategies and proactively adjust go-to-market plans to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy by providing insights into regional trends, farmer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing sales teams
  • Experience generate and maintaining relationships with sales leads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or a related field
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Understanding of regional crop cycles, farming practices, and agricultural challenges.
