
Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing payroll processing and all associated tasks, ensuring that practices follow company policy and regulatory guidelines.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will review, reconcile, audit, and balance payroll documents/files, provide customer service for all employees and third-party vendors related to payroll, train staff in new procedures, and oversee the preparation of special payrolls.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve accurate calculation and processing of multiple pay frequencies using the payroll system.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and supporting spreadsheets and documents for all filings and payments.
- Provide regular customer service and promptly address Tier 2 employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Administer specific compliance requirements in a timely manner.
- Complete quarter-end and year-end balancing, year-end documents, and annual filings.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance payroll efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, and/or human resources.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.
- Knowledge of global payroll processes, labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll and timekeeping systems, such as Workday, Dayforce, ADP Celergo, Gaia, and UKG Kronos.
- English fluency in verbal and written communication.
- Proven experience working across multiple countries to process payroll.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages with all levels in the organization.
- Strong communication, customer service skills, friendly, and professional attitude.
