Field Technician - Ecija at FMC Corporation

Location: Ecija, Central Luzon

The Field Technician role supports field programs by performing product demonstrations, retailer visits, and end-user engagements with consistency, efficiency, and professionalism. The technician should have strong technical knowledge of FMC products and the crops involved to enable field programs, provide accurate product positioning, and deliver insights from the ground. The role bridges FMC's commercial strategies and field execution, reflecting FMC's values of customer-centricity, sustainability, respect for people, safety, integrity, and agility.

Position is based in Ecija, Central Luzon and reports to the Field Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out product demonstrations, retailer visits, and end-user engagements with consistency and professionalism to build product awareness and brand credibility.
  • Implement field programs effectively, providing technical support and field insights to enhance program execution and align with crop cycles.
  • Monitor market dynamics by tracking competitor activities, product launches, promotions, and pricing strategies; report field intelligence for tactical and strategic responses.
  • Provide timely updates on Move Out Sales (MOS), crop development stages, farmer practices, and area challenges to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Bridge field and commercial teams by sharing feedback on product performance and technical positioning.
  • Drive retailer and key farmer engagement programs with consistent messaging, product visibility, and dealer confidence in FMC's value proposition.
  • Ensure accurate product positioning by reinforcing correct product usage, benefits, and differentiation at dealer and end-user levels; support training and communications to maintain technical accuracy and brand integrity.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field is a strong advantage, supporting crop science understanding and technical knowledge of FMC's portfolio.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, as the role involves frequent travel to farms, retail outlets, and dealer networks across the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic with a solid professional background.
  • Capable of delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences, including farmers, retailers, and internal teams.
  • Flexible to work Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
