We are seeking a skilled Electronic/IoT / Automation Technician to install, configure, and maintain smart home and building automation systems. The role involves hands-on work in setting up smart locks, sensors, security systems, and other IoT devices while ensuring safety, reliability, and high-quality workmanship at all project sites. Must be willing for on-site field-work in various locations within Metro Manila.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and wire smart locks, lighting controls, sensors, and other automation devices.
  • Configure devices, pair them to controllers, and verify proper operation.
  • Assist engineers during system setup, testing, and commissioning.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of installed systems.
  • Perform basic network configuration (Wi-Fi, LAN connections, device pairing).
  • Troubleshoot and repair wiring and hardware issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure neat, high-quality installations.
  • Provide after-sales support or training to end-users as needed.

Qualifications

  • Vocational or technical diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or IT-related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in electrical installation, electronics, or IT support (OJT experience considered).
  • Basic knowledge of smart devices, access control systems, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation manuals.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, crimping, and cable management.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and physically fit to work on ladders or tight spaces.
  • Willing to travel to different sites and work extended hours if needed.
