About the Role
This role is about more than just sales—it's about empowerment. As a Field Sales Associate, you'll be on the front lines, introducing families to sustainable solar solutions that free them from high electricity bills. You'll provide a path to financial freedom by helping them reduce their energy costs.
What You'll Do- Be a Solar Champion: Generate and cultivate high-quality leads and guide them from prospect to a proud solar customer.
- Build Relationships: Meet with potential clients, understand their needs, and deliver compelling pitches that lead to a sale.
- Craft Smart Solutions: Recommend the best solar and financing products to match each client's unique budget and preferences. We'll train you to sell and design basic solar systems for customers right in their home.
- Navigate the Pipeline: Manage your sales pipeline, work with your team, and smash sales targets.
- Help Us Grow: Provide valuable feedback to our operations and product teams to help us continuously improve.
- Experience: 2–4 years of sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals. Ideally you've worked in account management or business development. Experience in renewable energy, banking, fintech, or retail is a plus.
- Communication Skills: You are a natural communicator who can clearly explain complex products and build trust with clients. We want you to be a Helios ambassador in the community/ies that you will be selling and operating in.
- Self-Starter Mentality: You can work independently while also being a collaborative leader within a team. You're organized and great at managing your time.
- Problem Solver: You can listen to customer challenges and find creative, effective solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable using CRM software to manage leads and track your sales activities.
- Mobility: You ideally have a reliable form of transportation - whether that is motorbike or car.
- Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred.
