What you'll be doing:

As a Procurement Manager, you will lead sourcing strategies for raw ingredients or specialty chemicals used in cosmetics, personal care, and fragrances across the Asia Pacific region. Your role involves identifying and executing savings opportunities, optimizing sourcing processes, and managing supplier performance. You will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet Avon's standards for service, quality, innovation, and sustainability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives, mitigate supply risks, and manage supplier compliance with contracts and service level agreements. Success in this role means maximizing supplier value and contributing to Avon's triple bottom line business targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic sourcing: Conduct supplier base selections, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with global, regional, and local strategies.
• Supplier relations management: Manage supplier compliance, track performance, and lead development activities to improve service and cost efficiency.
• Sourcing operations management: Define purchase prices, update supplier information, and collaborate on projects to optimize costs and lead times.

What we're looking for:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Material Management, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in delivering cost savings.
• 1 to 2 years of direct raw materials sourcing/procurement experience, particularly with chemicals used in cosmetics, personal care, and fragrances for FMCG.
• Strong skills in negotiations, vendor management, and project management.
• Excellent ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Strong cultural awareness with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
• Excellent data analytics, presentation, and people skills.
• Experience in sourcing processes, data management, and contract management.
• High financial acumen.
• Adaptability to changes and technological proficiency, with above-average experience in procurement systems and commonly used software tools.
