Job Description
Purpose:
Responsible for procuring goods and services required by the organization while ensuring cost- effectiveness, quality and timely delivery. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to ensure the efficient and cost- effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and informed the industry trends and pricing.
- Prepare and manage procurement documentation.
- Monitor and track procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 requirements and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments.
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Resolve supplier- related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or High school diploma equivalent of training and experience on related job.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related roles.
- Resourceful and it can able to handle pressure.
