Manager, Cloud Solutions and Application

Overview

Leads the strategic planning, implementation, and management of Quantrics' cloud infrastructure and enterprise applications to ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and alignment with business goals. Oversees cross-functional collaboration, governance, and team development to deliver scalable cloud solutions and drive key IT initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure and Application Oversight: Leads the implementation, testing, and ongoing support of cloud-based platforms and enterprise systems, including Office 365, Azure, Ticketing Tools, and ERP solutions such as NetSuite.
  
• Oversees the deployment, integration, and lifecycle maintenance of cloud-hosted and hybrid applications.
  
• Ensures optimal performance, sustainability, and cost-efficiency of cloud environments, including secure configuration of VPNs, VPCs, and hybrid cloud networks.
  
• Manages the integration of cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring operational continuity and data flow.
  
• Data Integration and Reporting: Oversees the design and execution of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data movement and transformation across systems.
  
• Facilitates the development of data models and visualization solutions using platforms such as Power BI to drive insights and data-informed decision-making.
  
• Implements and maintains data management practices that support data quality, consistency, and governance.
  
• Strategic and Governance Leadership: Develops departmental strategies and performance objectives aligned with overall business goals and timelines.
  
• Establishes cloud governance policies and ensures compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.
  
• Monitors and optimizes cloud spending through cost management tools like Azure Cost Management.
  
• Project and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborates with PMO, vendors, and internal teams to deliver IT projects and solutions on time and within scope.
  
• Conducts interdepartmental reviews and communicates progress and risks to company leadership across multiple initiatives.
  
• Leadership and Team Development: Conducts regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to support the career growth of team members.
  
• Drives the professional development of staff by encouraging skills advancement in relevant technologies and tools.
  
• Financial and Operational Management: Oversees departmental budget planning, monitoring, and optimization to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
  

Competencies
Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure (e.g. Office 365, Azure, ERP systems, VMware, Citrix, etc.).
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record in technology-related roles.
  
• Solid experience in cloud application deployment, support, and integration.
  
• Working knowledge of cloud security, including implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  
• Familiarity with IT industry regulations and standards, such as ISO, SOC2, PCI DSS, NIST, and GDPR.
  
• Project management experience, with an ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  
• ITIL Practitioner certification or equivalent understanding of IT service management.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  

Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have Competencies)

• Exposure to AI and ML service integration within cloud platforms to enhance application functionality.
  
• Advanced knowledge of cost optimization tools such as Azure Cost Management.
  
• Experience managing hybrid cloud networks, including VPNs, VPCs, and cross-system integration.
  
• Comfort with cross-departmental stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
  

Qualifications
Educational Qualification/s

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  
• Certifications (A plus but not required):
  
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate – Validates hands-on expertise in managing Azure cloud services.
  
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate – Demonstrates ability to design and deploy scalable systems on AWS.
  
• ITIL 4 Foundation or Practitioner – Essential for IT service management and aligning IT with business needs.
  
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) – For cloud security leadership and governance.
  
• Project Management Professional (PMP) – Critical for managing complex IT and cloud projects.
  

Work Conditions

Hybrid model with 3-day (Mon–Wed) or 4-day (Mon–Thu) in-office rotations.
