Overview

The role of the Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator is to maintain a smooth and timely purchasing and delivery process to meet targeted schedules. The position coordinates customs clearance and logistics processes and is accountable for effective documentation and file management.

Responsibilities
  • Source goods and services with responsibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Procure products and equipment promptly to meet project and service requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery by following up with vendors on confirmed purchase orders and adhering to targeted schedules.
  • Take responsibility for timely delivery to fulfill specific project needs.
  • Manage purchasing information in the ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Coordinate import and export processes, including customs clearance and logistics coordination.
  • Oversee the faulty replacement process and warehouse operations.
  • Maintain documentation and file management.
  • Handle inventory management, including goods control, receipt, and delivery.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchasing and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics providers.
