Logistics Officer/ Materials Coordinator

We are looking for a reliable and organized Logistics Coordinator / Materials Coordinator to support our MEPFs project. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of construction materials, coordinating between procurement and site teams, and maintaining smooth flow of supplies to match project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Procurement Officer to monitor purchase orders and supplier delivery schedules.
  • Work closely with site engineers, foremen, and workers to confirm daily and weekly material requirements.
  • Track, schedule, and follow up deliveries to ensure materials arrive on-site on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pending orders, and inventory levels.
  • Report daily/weekly status of material flow and delivery issues to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in resolving delivery delays, shortages, or logistical concerns.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of delivered materials at the site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in construction logistics, materials coordination, or site-based supply chain/ warehouse preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with both office and field staff.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) or similar tools.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
