IFF is a global leader in Food Ingredients and Flavors and we are constantly looking for new challenges—and developing new-to-world solutions that answer them. We are now looking for a dynamic individual to join our Philippines Commercial team as Key Account Manager.

Your Focus

As a Key Account Manager at Nourish, you will drive growth and enhance IFF’s image by maintaining effective customer communication and aligning local needs with global objectives. You will promote IFF products, develop strong business partnerships, and adhere to IFF Core Values. Additionally, you will execute ingredient strategy, deliver innovations, and ensure customer satisfaction to achieve sustainable, profitable sales growth.

How You Will Contribute

  • Contribute to the growth, profitability, and enhancement of the branding of IFF by providing effective regular customer communication to ensure interface between the customer and IFF in understanding and translating their needs and requirements.
  • Communicate and promote the agreed standard “First Choice List” SEA IFF Product Range to the Customer base while meeting IFF’s agreed segmentation service policy for this Customer base.
  • Management of designated Global, Regional or Country Key Accounts by forecasting, sampling, providing price quotations and follow up of customer queries and handling of customer complaints - in accordance with IFF’s procedures to deliver the expected customer sales service platform.
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate new business opportunities at existing and new accounts with partner distributors capturing these opportunities in both Salesforce.com. Selectively convert them into new sales to expand the profitable market share of the company.
  • Participate in the development of Industry plan team for your designated industry categories, identifying assessable market potentials, market trends and key customer opportunities and continually review your execution, progress, and potential for upgrades on a monthly cycle with the team.
  • Monthly updating of customer call reports, opportunity management (Project progression & Measurable value zone’s), segmentation data, competitive information, and forward copies to relevant stakeholders to keep the team informed to optimize business opportunities.
  • Provide a timely and accurate Activity Report to the Sales Leaders for inclusion in the SEA reporting requirements to effectively measure progress against agreed plans and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work cooperatively with peers and leaders to ensure personal and company sales targets and performance measures are achieved.
  • Prepare key account plan and report relevant market information.
  • Conduct quarterly key account plan review to relevant internal stakeholders across the region.
  • Maintain customer information and database related to the accounts.
  • Partner with operation team to ensure customer satisfactions in term of services and supply.

What you will need to be successful.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Food and Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, Marketing or any other relevant industry.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experiences in Food industry. Having Ingredients sales experiences will be advantageous.
  • Ability to create, nurture relationships at senior levels and create opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to assimilate commercial and/or technical information and communicate effectively to both customers and IFF team members.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret inputs from market trends and consumer tests.
  • Team player, Strategic thinking, Positive mindset, Orchestrator.
  • Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective business English with a global mindset able to work with different cultures.
