Position: Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
  • Microsoft 365 / O365 Administration
    • Manage accounts, groups, licenses, mail flow rules, and compliance features
    • Support Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint administration
  • User Onboarding & Offboarding
    • Provision and deprovision user accounts, devices, and collaboration tools
    • Ensure proper access controls and data handling during staff transitions
  • Operational IT Support
    • Provide Tier 1-2 ticket support for end-user issues (Windows/Mac endpoints, O365 apps, connectivity)
    • Escalate complex issues to the onshore sysadmin or vendors
  • Device & Endpoint Management
    • Enforce policies (via Intune or equivalent MDM)
    • Ensure patching, antivirus, encryption, and compliance on endpoints
  • Access & Security Operations
    • Maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and audit logs
    • Support MFA, password resets, and suspicious activity checks
  • Documentation & Inventory
    • Keep SOPs, asset registers, and account inventories updated
    • Maintain structured records of ticket handling and resolution
Requirements
  • 4+ years’ experience in IT systems administration or service desk (Tier 2 level)
  • Strong operational knowledge of Microsoft 365/O365 administration
  • Experience with remote support and endpoint management tools (Intune, RMM, etc.)
  • Good communication skills for supporting end users remotely
  • Process-oriented with strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Customer service mindset, able to resolve issues efficiently
  • Some scripting/automation capability (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus but not core.
