Job Title: Junior Systems Administrator

Reports To: Senior Manager IT Infrastracture

Job Summary: PhilWeb is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to manage Azure Cloud Servers, Linux, and Windows systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability. The role requires 1+ year of experience in system administration with expertise in Linux, Windows, and cloud management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Azure Cloud Servers
  • Responsible for the creation, installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux servers.
  • Install and maintain Windows Server 2019 Data Center.
  • Responsible in diagnosing server problems and renewal of Company's domain name registrations, hosting accounts etc.
  • Responsible in diagnosing server problems and employ preventive measures to maintain the availability of servers.
  • Provided technical expertise of IT system, design, implementation, optimization, and upgrade.
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after office hours support as needed.
  • Must be willing to work in a hybrid, shifting schedule, during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • With atleast 1 year working experience as system administration with an indepth knowledge in Linux and Windows administration.
  • Experience in Azure Cloud management is a plus.
  • Experience with automated deployment technologies and configuration management system will be a great advantage.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or equivalent.
