Supervisor

Sales Performance:

• Achieves financial objectives by achieving and monitoring daily sales targets of outright and consignor items, controlling petty cash and counter transactions, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
• Determines team strategy to reach sales targets by reviewing store sales records and growth of different product categories
• Actively supports events by pushing NPDs, implementing promos, and selling instructions; markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans
• Ensures excellent store condition at all times

Inventory Management:

• Determines team strategy to reach sales targets by reviewing inventory movement of all product categories
• Secures merchandise by adhering to security systems and shrinkage is maintained at acceptable levels
• Ensures all in-store assets including supplies, furniture, equipment and information are responsibly handled
• Secures merchandise by implementing security systems (CCTCV) and other measures.

Process Excellence and Compliance:

• Ensures security and safety control measures relative to all store operations.
• Ensures delivery of fast and accurate counter service and monitors compliance of team with counter operations process guidelines and policies
• Maintains excellent store merchandise displays, compliant to standards & approved store layout
• Maintains store cleanliness & ensures store selling assets are in working condition
• Complies with Company prescribed uniform, grooming, service standards, and attendance policy
• Maintains stores operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements

Customer Focus:

• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing relationships with potential and actual customers to understand their product/service requirements
• Maintains consistent behavior reflecting Goal, Service Philosophy, and Commitment of the Organization and ensures it is delivered by all staff at all times
• Adheres completely to the Selling Journey as outlined in the Mystery Shopper Questionnaire
• Ensures availability of merchandise and customer services by maintaining inventories, tools, supplies, collaterals, and job aids based on historical data of customer demand for his/her store
• Entertains all walk-in wholesale/corporate client of the store on a one-on-one basis.
• Explains to customers every inquiry about the products, its features, benefits, application, and technical specifications.
• Coordinates with merchandising for all orders and if the items are not available, have it sourced out to complete order.
• Coordinates with Central Warehouse and Branch Warehouse Supervisor on the time frame of delivery and gives feedback on the delivery date. In case there is a conflict of dates, a workable solution be proposed and accepted.
• Manage Store's Cash and Check Sales collections for deposit and assume custodianship of Store Funds such as Loose Change Fund and Petty Cash Fund.
• Performs other related functions that maybe assigned by superiors from time to time.

Leadership and Management:

• Contributes to merchandising and marketing activities; through the monitoring and feedback of the effect of any sales promotion; implementation of window activities; using business bulletin information to push sales; and the deliberate studying of trends
• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, skills audits, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring staff progress, and appraising job results
• Maintains professional and technical know-how by attending educational workshops; reviewing industry publications; establishing personal networks; and supporting development initiatives of Ace Hardware.
