We are expanding our digital operations and seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to help evolve our e-commerce and workflow systems. Role Overview As the Project Manager / Scrum Master , you will oversee the full lifecycle of our web development and system automation projects , ensuring all technical initiatives align with MAKS’ business goals. You’ll lead a small, agile development team and collaborate with engineers, designers, and operations to continuously improve performance, usability, and scalability across our digital systems. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and operational strategy , ensuring that projects—from e-commerce integrations to customer service platforms—run efficiently and deliver tangible business impact. Key Responsibilities Agile Project Leadership Lead all Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Manage and prioritize development tickets and project workflows using systems such as Jira, Trello, or ClickUp. Maintain clear, consistent communication between the US leadership team and Philippines-based developers . Translate project requirements into actionable technical tasks and milestones. Web Development Oversight Oversee and coordinate front-end and back-end development projects involving Vue.js, React, and NestJS . Lead WordPress and e-commerce site development , ensuring optimized performance and customer experience. Manage custom development for repair tracking systems, diagnostic tools , and automated customer portals . Collaborate with developers to design and deploy efficient, secure, and scalable systems integrated with API services, ERP/CRM tools, and logistics systems . Technical & Operational Integration Understand and participate in technical discussions involving coding stacks, architecture, and DevOps practices . Support continuous improvement of web infrastructure, from deployment pipelines to database optimization. Work closely with reverse engineering , customer service , and operations teams to ensure that web systems effectively support real-world repair and sales processes. Monitor KPIs, manage risks, and ensure consistent project delivery quality. Qualifications Core Skills Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in software or web development environments. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies , Scrum principles , and iterative delivery. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and leadership abilities across diverse, distributed teams. Technical Expertise Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript , Vue , React , or NestJS . Proficient understanding of WordPress , WooCommerce , and related e-commerce platforms . Experience in API integration , DevOps , and CI/CD pipelines . Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases , cloud hosting (AWS/GCP), and performance optimization. Ability to collaborate with developers and provide direction on technical implementations. Preferred Background Experience in automotive, electronics repair, or technical service industries . Background in reverse engineering systems , technical product management , or software process automation . Hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams in both development and operations contexts. Familiarity with data-driven performance reporting and system scalability initiatives .
